When magazines met the World Wide Web, a new market was born for e-zines (or magazines in purely electronic format). We’re delighted to have expert guests, all multitasking editors and crime authors in their own rights, who’ll discuss how these publications work, what they feature, and what opportunities this unique form offers both writers and readers.
Jack Getze, owner and fiction editor of Spinetingler Magazine
Joseph R.G. DeMarco, publisher and editor-in-chief of Mysterical-E
Todd Robinson, editor-in chief and graphical designer of Thuglit
We’re meeting, as usual, on the third Wednesday of the month at the Jefferson Market Library branch of the NYPL. Our meet-and-greet begins at 6pm, with chapter programming from 6:30-7:45pm, and an optional dinner nearby to follow.
Browse the virtual racks and bring your questions!
Additional Scheduling Notes: Our next meeting will be held unusually on a Monday, May 5th, with a detective specializing in crimes worth over a million dollars. See more details at our Chapter Meetings page.
Also, stay tuned for details of our full-day workshop with Donald Maass on Saturday, June 7th! This will be available to members and non-members. See more details (with much more to come) at our Special Events page, where you can also help us with advance planning by letting us know your interest.
